– Practitioner
Although I initially started with UI/UX design and the generation of data visualisations, I developed an affinity for physical computing and rapid prototyping. Especially the emergence of ambient computing and its influence on how we interact with devices and digital content led to the exploration of hybrid experiences. By observing systems – their entities and interactions – my projects are driven by research and inspired by the concept of vital experiences.
– Researcher
With a strong focus on design as political action, I explore how the merge between digital technologies and physical objects could create new communication channels into local political culture. How could government information and experiential accounts from citizens become accessible? In what ways can design contribute to the exchange of views and the negotiation of tensions, promoting the notion of agonistic pluralism?
